G G7
I wanna hold you
         Am D
'til the mountains turn into sand
                         G
Oh my god, what happened to all those days
               G7
before we were bruised
               Am
before we were cut loose
                 D
to drown in your wake

C
I can't breathe underwater like I used to
         D
before I met you

G G7
I, just cant remember
    Am D
January, straight through December
                   G
my collective memories are in shambles and
          G7
so are my scruples
                 Am
I'm outside your window
                       D
throwin' bricks at the moon
C
I can't breathe underwater like I used to
        D
'fore I met you

Actually those aren't the right notes for the part before the G chord either. The notes are D, E, and G or ------------------ ------------------ -------0-------0-- ----2-------2----- -5-------5-------- ------------------

This is a pretty legit tab! There are a few things that were left out though, but I got your back, haha. I've noticed that before each time the G chord is played, there's a riff that happens that goes like --------------3------ --------------3------ --------------0------ --------------0------ --------------2------ -0-2-3-0-2-3--3------ And then in the chorus, when you're playing the C chord, you kind of go back and forth between C and C7, so as to follow the vocal melody, like so: C7 C C7 C C7 C C7 C I--- can't breathe, underwater, like I used to And then the D in the chorus does the same thing, sort of building up to the scream with the top string, like so: (Each time the pitch in your voice raises, the pitch at the top of the chord raises.) --2--3--5------------------ --3--3--3------------------ --2--2--2------------------ --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- I hope this helps, feel free to ask me questions if you don't understand what I'm trying to convey, excellent tab though, I give you 5 stars!
