Working for the Weekend - Loverboy
Submitted by Garrick Sissons

(My first submission)
This work is my own interpretation of chords that should work to do the song on
acoustic guitar by oneself. The "riff" chords are optional. I actually start
singing it at half-speed and gradually speed up through the song and the audiences
seem to find it interesting and amusing. Not a song people expect to hear acoustically. :)
Capo +2 for Original Key (of B)
(But if you are not a real decent tenor or a female then I suggest notching it
down like I have it here)

Garrick submitted the meat and potatoes of the song ... it is up to you to add the carrots and onions!

Sounds really good, and complete (thanks!), but I think for the bridge (you wanna piece of my heart) it sounds better with B B-5 B4, and then a little thing with the bass notes.
B B-5 B4
e--------------
B--------------
G-4-4-4--------
D-4-3-2--------
A-2-2-2--------
E--------------
You might argue the name "B4" - it's like a power chord with a 4th instead of 5th with no 3rd. You might call it an inverted E5, but I think B4 fits the context here....

I did a cover of this song so you can actually see how to play it! https://youtu.be/vj4twqPQ3Wk
