On Linda's Greatest Hits LP, this song is in the key of A#/Bb, with Capo on 3, instead of fret 4. But on 1969's "Hand Sown, Home Grown", and on 5 other albums of hers, it's Capo on fret 4, as you have here, key of B. Either way, and no matter who has sung this song, the G progression seems to be the most satisfying to me.
But Dusty Springfield (with "The Springfields"), in 1962, had a super hit that year with it in the key of A on their album by the same name. I can't decide which version I like best, but I'd love to have heard Dusty do it in G.
Oh, I just looked: It's one of "my guys", Pencom, who created this faithful version. Good job. I never want to see who has penned these versions on UG, and after I've perused the lot and settled on my favorite version, I look for the author. Seeing someone's name like Pencom, here, or maguri on many others, it brings a smile. I'm assured I won't have to go correcting a bunch of things after I've printed them off. Nice! And oh, yeah, Thank you! 👍
