I think it is also played on the A string as well instead of going that far up the D string. That's what the fingering sounds like to me. For anyone who needs help, after the 7 5 7 on the D it would be 9th fret on the A then back to 7 on the D then 8 on the A and back to 7th on the D and then omit the last 7 just like above for the second run through. Either way good to practice your fretting in multiple ways.
