I noticed what I think is the same mistake I heard in the guy who posted the tune in the key of A. In the verse, where you call for Am, instead try an A7. A major A with a dominant 7th instead of the Am. Not sure about the chorus as I didn't use it there at all. The rest is fine.

Way to low of a key.....I know the original key is high, but try it in G, it'll sound a lot better, and you should be able to hit the notes vocally.
