[Verse]
E G#m C#m B A
I'm gonna make a change, for once in my life
E G#m C#m
It's gonna feel real good, gonna make a difference
B A
Gonna make it right
E G#m C#m B
As I, turn up the collar on my favorite winter coat
A
This wind is blowin' my mind
E G#m C#m
I see the kids in the street, with not enough to eat
B A
Who am I, to be blind? Pretending not to see their needs
[Bridge]
F#m G#m
A summer's disregard, a broken bottle top
A G#m
And a one man's soul
F#m G#m
They follow each other on the wind ya' know
A B
'Cause they got nowhere to go
B
That's why I want you to know
[Chorus]
E G#m A B
I'm starting with the man in the mirror
E G#m A B
I'm asking him to change his ways
E G#m A Bb
And no message could have been any clearer
B
If you wanna make the world a better place
E G#m C#m B A
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change
Na na na, na na na, na na, na nah
[Verse 2]
E G#m C#m B
I've been a victim of a selfish kind of love
A
It's time that I realize
E G#m C#m B
That there are some with no home, not a nickel to loan
A
Could it be really me, pretending that they're not alone?
[Bridge]
F#m G#m
A willow deeply scarred, somebody's broken heart
A G#m
And a washed-out dream
F#m G#m
They follow the pattern of the wind, ya' see
A B
Cause they got no where to be
E
That's why I'm starting with me
[Chorus]
E G#m A B
I'm starting with the man in the mirror
E G#m A B
I'm asking him to change his ways
E G#m A Bb
And no message could have been any clearer

If you wanna make the world a better place
E
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change

Hi there: This is a good TAB. A few notes ...
The chord at "if you wanna make the world ..." is a B dom 7 aug 9 (B7#9 or just B#9) - also known as the "Jimi Hendrix Chord." It's also found in "Jesus is Just Alright" by the Doobie Brothers. Notes are B, D#, F, C## (or D). Tab is; x2123x or 7677xx as previously posted. Try it - it really makes that phrase.
One other correction: In the chorus, I think the first two lines are E - F#m - A - B (not E - Abm - A - B) but the THIRD line is E - Abm - A - Bbm - B7#9).
Also, James Morrison's take seems to have a descending part at the end of the verse when he sings, like adding an Abm and F#m.
Try it and see what you think!

solid tab man, but i think in the chorus at the "if you wanna make the world..." part, the chord isn't a B. i dont know what its called, but it looks like this
at least thats what sounds right to me. other than that its a good tab.
