can figure the variations out fairly easily.

LYRICS:
Kimbie wants a nine dollar shawl
Kimbie wants a nine dollar shawl
She wants a nine dollar shawl and I need a mackinaw
Well baby where you been so long?
Baby where you been so long?
I been in that state pen with them rough and rowdy
Rough and rowdy, rough and rowdy men
But baby where you been so long?
Baby where you been so long?
I been in your state pen and I gotta go back again
Well baby where you been so long?
Kimble let your hair hang down
Kimble let your hair let it hang down
Let your hair hang down and your bangs all curl around
Kimble let your hair hang down
Kimble let your hair let it hang down
Let your hair hang down and come the morning you know I'll be gone
Well baby let your hair hang down
Well I wished I was a mole in the ground
I wished I were a mole in the ground
Cos' a mole in the ground and I'd tear I'd tear this mountain down
I wished I was a mole in the ground

Kimbie – Jackson C. Frank
How to play
"Kimbie"

Would like to second microguy. Def thankful for all the JCF tabs and covers that demystified the picking. Would also like to nit pick. The lyric is "I need a mackinaw." a short coat or jacket made of a thick, heavy woolen cloth, typically with a plaid design. Thanks for anybody sharing good info.

First, I would like to thank the author of this tab. If you look at the verse, I think at the end of the fourth measure the open second string is supposed to be played along with (and not before) the fourth string bass note. It seems to match the recording better when played in this way.

Does anyone have the chords version of this and Here Come the Blues?
