Good tab for a beautiful song!
The D9(no 5th) here is in fact a D9 without the 3rd (as the f# is left out) - the 5th (the a) is actually in. Another voicing (without barree and thus a little easier to play for beginners) would be x-x-0-2-1-0.
It might just be a matter of personal taste but instead of the D suggested here I'd prefer a D7sus4add9 or easier C/D: x-x-0-0-1-0 or x-5-5-5-5-x.
I think it would be good service if one didn't have to ask for chord voicings but if they were included right here.

Thanks Maguri for the helpful feedback, as always. I had fixed that comment in my local version (3rd, not 5th), but missed it here.
Good idea on the chord voicings. If I have the key shifted, would you recommend voicings for both original and shifted, or just the one posted? (if they're strange chords, I've done both in the past, but not for less common chords).

took a few tries to get the right timing and sound - Like it! thx
