Get ready for fun!!!! I worked so hard on this tab because it is such an amazing song–I
realise there are already tabs for this but mine is more accurate and for ppl looking
to being able to play the song straight from the tab –this is where you can find it.
Hope UG accept it! Have fun guys and gals but plz rate and comment on this –thank you!
 
 
Guitars:
 
All played and pre-recorded by Billie Joe Armstrong: -
 
Guitar 1 = acoustic/dreadnought guitar
Guitar 2 = electric clean guitar
Guitar 3 = electric distorted guitar
 
Notes:
 
Bass: bass plays the root note of each ‘Guitar 1’ (guitar 2 and 3 also where applicable)
chord played –very simple.
 
Effects: naturally you could use an acoustic modeller instead of acoustic guitar but
besides that possible effect –none.
 
General notes: listen out for the input of guitar 2 –the sound level increases at 00.24
and bass also enters here, its not that obvious to many but I noticed and have tabbed
this.
 
Verse 3’s rhythm is played the same as throughout although the speed increases slightly
–listen to hear this and compensate simply by playing faster.
