[Verse 1]

Gbmaj7 Gb6
In a little while from now
       Bbm7
If I'm not feeling any less sour
  Dbm
I promise myself to treat myself
    Bbm7-5 Eb7
And visit a nearby tower
    Abm7
And climbing to the top
   Abm7-5
To throw myself off
      Gb Gb+
In an effort to make it clear to who-
     Gb6 F7
ever what it's like when you're shattered
     Bbm7
Left standing in the lurch
     Dbm Eb7
At a church with people saying
    Abm7
"My God, that's tough, she stood him up
   Abm7-5
No point in us remaining
   Gbmaj7 Gb6
We may as well go home"
   Bbm7 Eb7
As I did on my own
Abm7 Db7-9 Gbmaj7 Gb6
Alone again, naturally

[Verse 2]

Gbmaj7 Gb6
To think that only yesterday
      Bbm7
I was cheerful bright and gay
        Dbm
Looking forward to - who wouldn't do?
    Bbm7-5 Eb7
The role I was about to play
       Abm7
And as if to knock me down
Abm7-5
Reality came around
        Gb Gb+
And without so much as a mere touch
         Gb6 F7
Threw me into little pieces
Bbm7
Leaving me to doubt
Dbm Eb7
Talk about God in his mercy
    Abm7
Who if He really does exist
Abm7-5
Why did He desert me?
Gbmaj7 Gb6
In my hour of need
  Bbm7 Eb7
I truly am indeed
Abm7 Db7-9 Gb
Alone again, naturally

[Bridge]

    A E7
It seems to me that there are more hearts broken in the world
     G#m7-5 C#7-9
Than can be mended
A D#m7-5
Left unattended
  C#maj7
What do we do?
  G#m7 C#7-9
What do we do?

[Nylon-string Guitar Solo, verse chords]

[Verse 3]

Gbmaj7 Gb6
Looking back over the years
        Bbm7
And whatever else appears
    Dbm
I remember I cried when my father died
      Bbm7-5 Eb7
Never wishing to hide my tears
       Abm7
And at sixty-five years old
   Abm7-5
My mother, God rest her soul
Gb Gb+
Couldn't understand why the only man
Gb6 F7
She had ever loved had been taken
Bbm7
Leaving her to start
       Dbm Eb7
With a heart so badly broken
Abm7
Despite encouragement from me
   Abm7-5
No words were ever spoken
Gbmaj7 Gb6
When she passed away
Bbm7 Eb7
I cried and cried all day

No, it is very confusing to mix sharp and flat chords in the same arrangement. You should make it Gb or change the flat chords such as Abm7 to sharp chords such as G#m7. the ii -V sequences are not clear this way. You may think it's totally up to the discretion of whomever is writing out the chord chart, but theoretically, sharp keys use all sharps and flat keys use all flats and they aren't mixed.

This is clearly accurate (I surmise as I'm hacking an attempt). But it seems even ultimate guitar can't figure out some of these chords. Would you (Andrew Rogers) consider writing a tab?

Dead-on!! And those are some excellent, faithful chords! A real workout!
