The chords don't change if you play it on other instruments

nice. for ukulele, probably works best in F. now for a quirky '20s feel, try raising the fifth on the C o "believe me" (so take out the 7th). i also use this chord for the finale, so starting on "you", F F7 Bb7 Bbm7 F and then C+5 sliding up to F6. juicy!

For guitar I transposed the chords up +4 half steps (2 full steps) and the chords are a bit easier for my beginner fingers, and I can sing in a lower voice register. With +4 transpose the first line of chords becomes G E7/G# Am D... and so on. The transition chord just prior to "Like Jack Horner..." is now a B which is also hard so I substitute B7 much easier to get to again for my beginner fingers. I also completely skip what is now the D#dim at "Your kisses..." Thanks butlerbilly for the great work on this!
