Pretty good chord. I capo'd on the 3rd and added a D7 after ever single D and it sounds solid.

Verse
G,C,G,D then I add an F# note on the last beat of the D. This leads really nicely into the G and mimics the bass run that happens on the recording.
Over the "la laaaaa la la la la laaaaa" part I play:
C, Em, D
Then there's a nice fill which is:
