the intro is in the wrong key. Should be in Dm, like the rest of the chords. Same notes, just use the D and G strings. Also, it's definitely supposed to be Dm, not D. Use the A7 & G7 as you please, it sounds good either way.

Drop D and it works no capo needed

It's definitely D, F, E. If you do low E 10th fret, A 8th fret and then A 7th fret to the song, you will see what I mean. Standard tuning of course. So, 10 10 8 10 10 10 8 7. Turning those into power chords makes it sound even better.
