Big Dipper Cifras

Version 1, while technically correct... was very incomplete. I didn't try this song for years, because it was hard to figure out unless you new the song very well. For beginners, its much easier if the chords are tabbed out completely in verse and chorus, and match the chord change timing. Not just naming them at the top. It sucks when the author just expects players to hopefully figure it out on their own. What's the point of a tab, if it doesn't make a song easier to play? So a complete tab... makes happy learners. Cheers. Jack.Esta informação foi útil?

[Intro]
Am C F G
[Verse 1]
Am C F G
The cigarettes and carrot juice. Get yourself a new tattoo
Am C F G
For those sleeveless days of June
Am C F G
I'm sitting on the Cafe Zinho's steps with a book I haven't started yet
Am C F G
Watching all the girls walk by
[Chorus]
G F
Could I take you out?
F Dm C G
I'd be yours without a doubt on that big dipper
G F
If the sound of this it frightens you
F Dm C G
We could play it real cool and act somewhat indifferent
[Verse 2]
Am C F G
And hey June, why'd you have to come... Why'd you have to come around so soon?
Am C F G
I wasn't ready for all this nature
Am C F G
The terrible green green grass and violent blooms of flowered dresses
Am C F G
And afternoons that make me sleepy
[Chorus 2]
G F
But we could wait a while
F Dm C G
'Fore we push that dull turnstile into the passage
G F
Thousands they have tread
F Dm C G
And others sometimes fled before the turn came
G F
We could wait our lives
F Dm C G
Before a chance arrives, before the passage
G F
From the top you can see Monterey
F Dm C G
Or think about San Jose though I know it's not that pleasant
[Verse 3]
Am C F G
And hey Jim Kerouac, brother of the famous Jack
Am C F G
Or so he likes to say... Lucky bastard
Am C F G
He's sitting on the Cafe Zinho's steps with a girl I'm not over yet
Am C F G
Watching all the world go by
[Chorus 3]
G F
Boy, you're looking bad
F Dm C G
Did I make you feel that sad? I'm honestly flattered
G F
But if she asked me out
F Dm C G
I'd be hers without a doubt on that big dipper
[Verse 4]
Am C F G
The cigarettes and carrot juice. Get yourself a new tattoo
Am C F G
For those sleeveless days of June
Am C F G
I'm sitting on the Cafe Zinho's steps, I haven't got the courage yet
Am G
I haven't got the courage yet...
