[Verse]
C
I threw a wish in the well,
G
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
Em
I looked to you as it fell,
D
and now you're in my way
C
I trade my soul for a wish,
G
pennies and dimes for a kiss
Em
I wasn't looking for this,
D
but now you're in my way
C G
Your stare was holdin', Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Em
Hot night, wind was blowin'
D
Where you think you're going, baby?
[Chorus]
C G D D
Hey, I just met you,
Em C C
and this is crazy,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
C G D D
It's hard to look right,
Em C C
at you baaaabeh,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
C G D D
Hey, I just met you,
Em C C
and this is crazy,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
C G D D
And all the other boys,
Em C C
try to chaaase me,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
[Verse]
You took your time with the call,
I took no time with the fall
You gave me nothing at all,
but still, you're in my way
I beg, and borrow and steal
Have foresight and it's real
I didn't know I would feel it,
but it's in my way
Your stare was holdin', Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Hot night, wind was blowin'
Where you think you're going, baby?
[Chorus]
C G D D
Hey, I just met you,
Em C C
and this is crazy,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
C G D D
It's hard to look right,
Em C C
at you baaaabeh,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
C G D D
Hey, I just met you,
Em C C
and this is crazy,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?
C G D D
And all the other boys,
Em C C
try to chaaase me,
G D D
but here's my number,
so call me, maybe?

Its sounds good if on the chorus you play the chords higher up the neck as bar chords

Good job subz! However, that Em belongs in the chorus too. C-----G-D-D, Em-C-C. Niallguitar is right about the bar chords on the chorus. I use a D-shaped G at the 5th fret and play the Em bar at the 7th fret.

In the chorus I think it's an Em before the C -- like this:
C G D D
Hey, I just met you,
Em C C
Try it -- you'll like it!
