Please Note: Buddy Holly recorded this song using chords in his favourite key of A, but his acoustic guitar was slightly de-tuned (slightly flat) so it is not authentic to use chords as if played in the key of Ab. Much easier to play it as he actually played it!!

@ Lowdenjim Thanks for your comment - you're probably right, too. One can always use the transpose function to get the chords in different keys, though.

I reckon the C# in the middle 8 fits better played as C#m & C#m7, and the B played as a Bm7
