Across The Border - Bruce Springsteen
Capo 3rd fret
| G | C | G | D | G
C
Tonight my bag is packed
G
Tomorrow I'll walk these tracks
D7 G
That will lead me across the border
C
Tomorrow my love and I
G
Will sleep 'neath auburn skies
D7 G
Somewhere across the border
C
We'll leave behind my dear
D7
The pain and sadness we found here
G C
And we'll drink from the Bravo's muddy waters
G C
Where the sky grows grey and wide
G
We'll meet on the other side
D7 G
There across the border
C
For you I'll build a house
G
High up on a grassy hill
D7 G
Somewhere across the border
C
Where pain and memory
G
Pain and memory have been stilled
D7 G
There across the border
C
And sweet blossoms fills the air
D7
Pastures of gold and green
G C
Roll down into cool clear waters
G C
And in your arms 'neath open skies
G
I'll kiss the sorrow from your eyes
D7 G
There across the border

I think its a d major and not a d7,the timing of the chord changes is poor but easy to work out from this. Also, in the line 'the pain and sadness we found here' there is no d or d7 but a change to g on the word 'we'. Thats just one example, thanks for posting this though, one of my favourite springsteen songs, if i get time i will post my version over the weekend.
