[Intro]
G Bm Em D G
[Verse 1]
G
She's a rambler, She's a gambler, She won't ever let ya have her
Bm
She's an angel, She's the devil, She's always on the level
Em
Don't you try to run with her, She'll just leave you in the dirt
D
Like she has so many men before
[Verse 2]
G
He's a sinner, he's a splinter, he's colder than the winter
Bm
He's a loner, He's a rebel, He's best friends with the devil
Em
And He'll walk this earth a lone, He'll never find a home
D
He'll find ya, he'll fool ya and he'll go
[Verse 3]
G
I'd been walkin' damn near all day, when he pulled off of the freeway
Bm
And I got in without question, cuz I've always known I'd die young
Em
There was pistol on his lap, next to a briefcase full of cash
D
I knew right then I had met my match
[Verse 4]
G
She was walkin' down that highway, when I pulled up beside her
Bm
And even though I didn't know her, I could tell she was a wild one
Em
There was blood stains on her clothes, She said her name was Rose
D
She shut the door, I hit the gas
[Solo]
[Verse 5]
G
I asked her where she's goin', She said she didn't know
Bm
So I kept drivin' through the night, and no one said a word more
Em
And then I pulled her close, touched the blood stains on her clothes
D
I said Mexico? She nodded yes
[Verse 6]
G
We drove all through the night then, I woke up to sirens
Bm
And shattered glass all on the dash, and he put that pistol in my hand
Em
Said woman "shoot to kill, you know they surely will."
D
I said hit the border baby, I'll do the rest
[Verse 7]
G
We were shootin, We were swervin', and up ahead there was a curve
Bm
And we was goin way too fast, We let off the gas
Em
But that copper broke too slow, flew off the side of the road
D
Next to a road sign said Juarez 20 miles
[Solo]
[Verse 8]
G
We pulled into socorro, A small town across the border
Bm
And we got out, laughed out loud, Celebration was in order
Em
So we stepped inside a bar, had a toast under the stars
D
To long hauls and close calls
[Verse 9]
G
We drank all through the night, tellin' stories neath the moon light
Bm
And I looked at him and he looked at me and neither us believed in destiny
Em
So he took that case of cash, he split it right in half
D
I took my share and walked away
[Verse 10]
G
She's a rambler, She's a gambler, She won't ever let ya have her
Bm
He's a sinner, he's splinter, He's colder then the winter
Em
Don't try to run with her, She'll just leave you in the dirt
D
He'll find ya, he'll fool ya and he'll go

Sorry.. I'm an upright bass player and I really don't know anything about guitar solos. But thanks for checking this out!

Man, I love this song so much!
I remember, how it was the final song on a sampler I got on a Metal-festival and during the long way home I listened to this song over and over. Since then I always play this song each time I drive a longer distance by car on full volume and sing along.

Sounds very good! Do you maybe know, how to play the solos on guitar?
