Blink 182 - Down
Tabbed by TJF (TJF@TJFweb.com)
for Electric Guitar

* Notes: First tab of "Down" from Blink 182's new self-titled album!

* Notes: For the 'Breaks after the chorus' parts, just play the same power
chord rooted on either the E string or A string. I just put the two
different variations in there for fun, but I'm sure that the intro
is rooted on the A string as you can tell the difference between the
A string and the E string.

* Notes: A lot of new Blink 182 songs consist mainly of piano / keyboard parts.
I would 'tab' these parts, but you can't exactly tab piano parts.
However, I've included some parts to play on guitar if you get bored
of playing power chords. Have fun!

Lyrics:

The drops of rain they fall all over
This awkward silence makes me crazy
The glow inside burns light upon her
I'll try to kiss you if you let me
... This can't be the end
Tidal waves they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad

Down down down down
Down down down down
It gets me so
Down down down down
Down down down down
It gets me so

Your vows of silence fall all over
The look in your eyes makes me crazy
I feel the darkness break upon her
I'll take you over if you let me
... You did this

Tidal waves they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad.

Down down down down
Down down down down
It gets me so
Down down down down
Down down down down
It gets me so
Down down down down
Down down down down

Hey music****er, what did the japanese guy ever do to you. In the Japanese defense, go **** yourself with your mom's strap on.

GUYS! A capo on the second fret doesn't matter. These are power chords and octaves, a capo isn't going to do anything to them. The only thing it would effect is the F#5 (244xxx) since it would make it look like an E5 (022xxx) which really isn't that big of a deal. So stop with the capo thing, I have no idea why Tom even used one, it's not making this tab any less accurate. This tab gets five stars from me.
